Art Mad is a fellowship of artists working in various media who gather at Stittsville Public Library for shared studio space on Friday afternoons from September until June. We do not offer lessons or supplies but enjoy creating art and sharing ideas on our own works. The Mill by the South Nation River at Spencerville proved to be a beautiful, peaceful and shady location for our plein air.
After the plein air session, we went to Kemptville for lunch.

Group Meetings
Our last art meeting at Stittsville Public Library before the summer break is on Friday 16 June, from 1 – 4pm. We plan on a couple of plein air sessions in July and August before restarting our weekly meetings in September.
Art Show, Munster
Our second show of the year is on throughout June at the lovely old Munster Public Library at 7749 Bleeks Rd, Munster, ON K0A 3P0 (Closed Fridays and Sundays).

Our Friday meetings are now in full swing. The group's latest display is currently on the Stittsville library wall and is on show for the whole of March.

The October Library Wall Space Display was very well-received: “lovely as usual”, “A wonderful art show!”, “awesome”, just to list a few viewer comments. Samples of sketches and paintings completed since then can be seen in the New Work Folder – check them out!
Friday 9 December sees our last painting session of the year in the meeting room of Stittsville Library. We resume on Friday January 6 after the holiday break, and look forward to a busy year, with another Library Art Wall show in March, and the possibility of a new venture: a display in the Amberwood Golf Course Art Gallery in the Fall.
Our Christmas Celebration Lunch takes place on Friday 16 December at The Glen.

The Fall session of regular meetings at Stittsville Public Library begin on Friday 9 September from 1pm to 4pm. Members of the public are welcome to come in and meet us.
17 August: Plein Air, Pinhey’s Point
Perfect weather, attendance of eight painters and sketchers including guest artist Stephany Castilla, and lunch at the Heart @ Soul Cafe in Dunrobin all ensured a very enjoyable session.
