As a new member to the Art Mad Artists Group, I'm looking forward to sharing and learning from fellow artists.
I was born and raised in the Byward Market and grew up in South-Central Ottawa. Throughout the years, I enrolled in different types of art courses.
While living and teaching in The Netherlands for 5 years, I was very fortunate to see and admire works of art from various European artists.
After retiring from a career as a French Immersion Elementary teacher, I was introduced to coloured pencil drawing by Allison Fagan, a local artist.
I soon discovered that our family pets make fun subjects!
Lately, I particularly enjoy experimenting with drafting film to create fine details like bird feathers.
